She and the band will be representing Tulsa Blues & The Tulsa Blues Society at The most coveted of all Blues Chalenges in the World; The International Blues Challlenge (IBC) in Memphis, Tn - beginning January 2012.

- "My favorite on the Strictly UnRestricted Bootleg Vol. II is probably 'Crazy Baby' ", Wanda Watson reveals,..."It's a Joan Osborn song that she wrote pretty much low key & acoustic... when we got hold of it, we turned it into a rock ballad because - at heart - I'm a rock 'n roller baby ! I actually started out my career in the early 80's in an all original rock n' roll band. Anyway, it just needed some umpf up in it - ya know ? - Anyway, it had huge reflections of my past, the way I felt when I was out there - in the problem - during the late 80's and early 90's, the sadness, the defeat, the wanting to give up and die feelings - that I could reflect on back then - and never forget to this day. I don't think anyone in the problem - that comes out on the other side of it - forgets that feeling of loneliness... even when you were never really alone. God was always there,I knew that, never questioned it, I just was full of reckless abandon at that time in my life, had a death wish and an agenda to get there in my own time instead of His time. The song is someone telling that person in despair to Hang On, Don't Give Up, Don't Turn Out the Light - You are LOVED and Needed !! It touches a lot of hearts and souls, which is what I'd like to believe I do when I sing. God gave me a gift to tell my stories with, so that's what I try to do, that's what I'll always do,
