We just recently moved from Florida back to the Tulsa area after nearly 20 years gone, & we brought all our stuff with us ! We're looking to provide the Tulsa Area Music Community with a new way to communicate, hook up, link up, and DO things. What I've found is a very receptive, plentiful and talented Musician & Performer population and there seems to be no resistance to wanting to get it together and go OUT. Not to say indoor venues are any lessor and I am actively seeking them as well - the main thing is to coordinate the talent and get venues (indoor or out) for expression. We have a system of nearly 15,000 watts, lighting, instruments, know how and a real good idea & passion for how to have a good time putting on musical events ! - We WILL ALL have some fun !!

When You Support the Blues Society, you are Supporting Live Music ! AND Helping to support Music in Schools !!Goals of the BST are to publish the bi-monthly Blues News newsletter, actively seek memberships, have fund raising events, and obtain government grants and community support. To offer in any way we can, given limited finances and time (we all have real paying jobs), support the local blues scene in Northeastern Oklahoma.

The Blues News newsletter is published by the Blues Society of Tulsa, A 501(c)3 Non-profit Organization. Blues News is mailed bi-monthly to BST's 400 plus members. 2,000 copies of the newsletter are printed, with the balance being distributed to various business establishments in Northeastern Oklahoma.

Programs: Blues in Schools, Blues Challenge, Best Self Produced CD, Blues Choice Awards, Birthday Party, Halloween Party, Christmas Party, monthly meetings, Sponsor live regional, national and international acts coming to Tulsa.

You'll receive a membership card in the mail that will garner you discounts on Concerts, Cd's, Parties, and BST Merchandise !! You'll also receive each Bi-monthly Blues News Newsletter in the mail ! The Monthly meetings are also open to the public !! I urge you to come check one out soon !! They only last around an hour and at the meetings you'll be able to purchase $1 tix for raffle items and special $1 tix for a musician signed electric guitar to be raffled off at a later meeting. You'll also be able to meet local & famed musicians, & possibly even get treated to a live performance !!
